Dusting your window blinds once a week is the best method to keep them clean and looking brand new. Dust your blinds from left to right, beginning with the top slat, using the vacuum’s dusting brush attachment. Repeat on the other side after closing the blinds in reverse.
Using a duster, glove, or microfiber cloth to clean your blinds Grab both sides of a slat with your glove or open the blind and wrap the microfiber cloth tightly around both sides. Start at the highest slat and work your way down for horizontal blinds, often known as venetian blinds. When dust from a slat above settles on a slat below, cleaning the same slat a second time is avoided by starting from top to bottom. From left to right, wipe the slat. You will clean the top side of one slat and the bottom side of the one above it when you move the duster between them if you are using a double-sided duster, like as this Swiffer GH Seal star double-sided duster. When cleaning vertical blinds, firmly wrap your microfiber cloth around both blind sides and wipe from top to bottom. No need to worry about depositing dust on other slats here, but working from the left-most slat to the right (or vice versa) will allow you to more easily keep track of the slats you’ve already cleaned.
